Hmm, May i give a suggestion?

This reminds me of the stuff i was doing a year and a half ago. basically the same rhythm over and over again with changes only in patterns overlapped upon other patterns. i suggest staying away from using just one pattern and attempt to jazz your melodies up, as a start. Repetitive songs WILL bore most of your audience. You can also add transitions between each new instrument to help boost appeal and tell the listener that there's something coming. This did have an interesting melody to it. I hope you continue to work on your skills when using FLS. Tutorials and listening to lots of different music helped me. Have a good day man!

NightmareDuck responds:

Okay, I like what you've told me, but I was thinking this could be more of a credits song, rather than a real song. I dunno. I just never meant for this to be a REAL song. But thank you for the suggestions. You have a good day, too. :)

Pretty good...

for just the demo. Compared to what i did when i had the demo this sounds like it was crafted by god himself. I had the demo for a week before upgrading and then a year and a half before putting stuff out. Good stuff man!

SpitNeck responds:

Its also the very first song I ever made using Fl so I do suppose I did well when making it. Thanks a bunch for the review and kind words !!

Sounds...

pretty cool. gave me the belief that there was something dark and evil lurking outside. Those synths were pretty nice and complemented the melody nicely.
Random guess: you use FL Studio.
Anyways, good composition and keep making music!

Volldegine responds:

Nice guess. I've been using Fl Studio for quite some time now. I'm guessing the drums tipped you off. I'm going to be posting an updated version of this one in a few minutes. My computer was acting up last night and I wasn't able to. Thanks for the review. I always like to see what kind of images people get from listening to my music.

Beautiful

After the last couple songs i listened to i needed something a little bit calmer to listen too. after 1:32 it wasn't as calm but was still able to relax. This was a great composition and i thank you for helping me relax a bit. ;) Have a good day!

Halindir responds:

Thank you very much!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Monesmone :)

Soundin' Good...

However you still need to work on your transitions between entrances of different melodies. Like at 1:30 and at 2:15. These are coming in rather awkward and art very pleasing to hear. I know you'll get it though, so i hope you keep working on these compositions.

JQiscool responds:

Thank You.
I will check on that

Maybe this will help...

Record your original song in Edison and save the song from there. Sounds good anyways, i don't see a problem for it being 8-bit like song. Keep making music man.

DJB3lfry responds:

Alright, I'll remember that. Thanks for the feedback and tips! :3

Nice techno!

Good use of FLS_ShallWeStart in the beginning, it definitely fit well there. I can't think up any suggestions for this one, might be that good...wait I still have a WIP i gotta be working on! thanks inadvertently reminding me! :D Have a good day!

AustinHayes responds:

haha thanks! im glad you liked it :D and you're welcome, it's what im here for! :P

Amazing, and only done with stock sounds at that!

I was surprised to find that this was made with only default samples. Great bass, just loved it! Too bad i don't have FL 10... Good song anyways, and have a great day!

Rig responds:

Thanks, you too!

Good Loop!

Sounds just like it should be in some classic style video game out there. Always liked FL Studio for looping things. Great work on your part friend!

DJB3lfry responds:

Yeah, that's what I thought when I finished it. Thanks for the feedback!

I don't listen to dubstep much...

But this was definitely one of the better ones. The intro starting at :48 was crazy, in a great way! The only thing i suggest is to give the part from 1:25 to 2:20 more love. It was a little too repetitive for me, but that's my only suggestion because this turned out amazing! Keep making great music man!

adavism responds:

that's what i love to hear.... give me the feeling of a moron, I mean mormon converting someone...makes for a good ego boost...but yea the "verse" is a bit repetitive. i needed falling action somewhere in it so in performance people can actually dance to it. just finished it today so i may add a few drop for the internet and ep version

I'm a young man who's had an interest in music since I was a toddler. I worked on my skills through practice with school and self studies with percussive instruments. I picked up FLS only 2 years ago and am still learning the ropes. For now, it's a hobby.
